Dairy product have mostly calcium in them which is good for bones especially children as they are more prone to getting hurt or breaking parts of either minor or major bones. So it is advised that you try to eat as much as possible. No other beverage gives you more complete nutrients than milk. Compared to calcium-fortified foods and beverages, milk is one of the least expensive choices for meeting daily calcium requirements.

A healthy diet is inconceivable today without the proteins, calcium, phosphorus, fats, and carbohydrates present in milk. Diets that include milk products tend to have a higher nutritional quality. Dairy foods provide several important nutrients, including protein, B vitamins and vitamin D, and are considered major sources of calcium in the diet. For centuries, milk has been the major source of calcium and is believed to be good for bones. Dairy products are important for building healthy bones and for maintaining a healthy weight.

The nutrients supplied by dairy foods help ensure normal body functioning and also help lower the risk of developing a variety of health problems. Consumption of milk and dairy has also been associated with a reduced risk of suffering a heart attack. 1 glass of milk alone can make a contribution to the daily recommended intake of many important nutrients for all age groups.
